CellMax delivers dramatic data throughput increase in European LTE network
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - Cellmax Technologies, the Stockholm based innovator and supplier of ultra high efficiency antennas for mobile networks, is proud to conclude the results achieved in a live LTE network in Scandinavia. The performance improvement measured was a record breaking 57% increase of data throughput. This significant improvement was achieved simply by replacing standard LTE antennas from a European manufacturer, for CellMax Ultra High Efficiency LTE antennas.
Mr. Einar Ahlström, CEO CellMax Technologies, says: “This clearly shows that our unique antenna technology, that doubles radiated power in both down- and up link, is key to achieve maximum performance in LTE. It enables our customers to serve more subscribers simultaneously with higher data rates, and at the same time significantly reduce the production cost per megabyte”.
The record breaking 2.6 GHz antenna family from CellMax is based on a revolutionary patented low loss feed network technology. The products are the highest performing LTE antennas on the market, and deliver 2.5 - 5 dB higher radiated power compared to antennas with the highest efficiency from other vendors. This brings down the production cost of a megabyte down with up to 40% compared to conventional antennas.

Our customers do not accept energy waste of 25-60% in the antennas. The whole idea of establishing a site in the first place is to radiate the expensive energy - not to waste it.”
