CellMax Technologies AB, the Stockholm based supplier of ultra high gain antenna solutions for mobile networks, announced today that one of Chinas largest manufacturers of telecom equipment has placed considerable orders for ultra high efficiency antennas from CellMax.

Thanks to the elimination of internal losses in the antenna via a revolutionary patented design, the technology provides 96% energy efficiency compared to standard antennas available that provides typically 60-65% energy efficiency. The superior efficiency of CellMax antennas doubles the radiated power (EIRP) and received signal to the base station, hence provides an increase of geographical coverage by up to 40% versus standard antennas available. Higher EIRP also provides an increase of the net traffic in the network.
